TREE PLANTING

The Parish Council's community trees were planted during the Easter weekend as parish councillors from Ramshaw got them in the ground at the Welfare Recreation Ground. This small group of native sapling trees from the Woodland Trust in three different species: Silver Birch; Rowan; Wild Cherry, should create pockets of shade for people to enjoy, a place for children to learn, homes for wildlife to thrive and much more. Trees help people and nature thrive and give us all a greener, healthier future. This initiative to boost tree planting aims to fight climate change, improve air quality, and enhance biodiversity.
