Allotment rents were due for 2026-2027 no later than midnight on Tuesday 31st March 2026. Allotment tenants were given ample notice that failure to pay within the stipulated time may result in loss of the tenancy, allowing the next person on the waiting list to take on the tenancy of the vacated plot. Several tenants have still not paid and non-payment is treated as a breach of their tenancy agreement, so their yearly tenancy will not be renewed. Any personal belongings should be removed and the allotments vacated within 28 days to allow the plots to be re-let to the people on the waiting list as soon as possible.
