The External Audit Team at Forvis Mazars LLP have not yet provided the Parish Council with an audit report for the Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) for the year ended 31st March 2025. As the deadline is close, they have advised that some audit reports will not be ready in time for the deadline: 30th September and this will leave the Parish Council in a position where it will not be able to place its audited AGAR and completion notice on the council's website (and other public spaces if it sees fit). The Parish Council has been strongly recommended to publish this notice explaining that the council was unable to publish the audited AGAR and completion notice by 30th September in line with the Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 because it is awaiting the audit report from the external auditor but it will publish as soon as these documents are available.
